Nihon Kohden’s cap-ONE CO2 sensor has a fast response which is helpful to confirm tracheal tube position, ensure quality of CPR and be an early indicator for return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) during CPR as recommended by international guidelines.
Audible Cue provides the caregiver with instant feedback about ETCO2 level changes by delivering 5 different, easily recognizable sounds to indicate 5 ranges from high to low ETCO2.
Proper depth of chest compressions during CPR creates adequate blood f low and oxygen deliver y to the hear t and brain. Moreover, proper rate of chest compressions during CPR is an impor tant determinant of ROSC and survival with good neurologic func tion.
Effective Shocks on Demand
Nihon Kohden EMS-1052 contributes your immediate treatment as defibrillator. Faster charging time helps you deliver energy quickly when VF is observed, and faster recovery time to baseline helps you check the patient condition and confirm if additional defibrillation is required. It takes less than 4 seconds to charge 200J with a fully charged new battery. ECG waveform backs to baseline within 3 seconds after defibrillation.
Continuous VF/VT analysis helps you deliver faster defibrillation in AED mode than ever before. With continuous VF/VT analysis, the ECG waveform can be analyzed during CPR and energy charging starts before the shock is advised.

For MI patients, transmitting 12-lead ECG data before arrival at the hospital is a general requirement to shorten door-to-balloon time. Not only waveforms but also interpretation helps you to make decisions about the next steps of treatment of cardiac arrest.
